We are registered with the

Since 1990 the Hibiscus Coast Community House has been providing services in support of local people.

We offer ...

  • a venue for meetings and courses at competitive prices on two different sites

  • low cost clothing and household goods through our shop

  • a car seat rental programme

  • Foodbank and other support to local families

  • Breakfast in Schools programme

  • Budget Advisor appointments

  • support to local multi-agency Safe House

  • a jigsaw lending library

  • a multi-seater vehicle for community group use

  • a volunteer programme

  • community worker placements

  • drop off place for Women's Refuge donations

We liaise with Women's Refuge, CAB, HBC Family Services, Rodney Adult Mental Health and other local community groups.

From August 2014 we are also supporting other not-for-profit groups in the Hibiscus Coast through our Community Shop. We will be donating one day's takings each month towards pre-approved projects. (See link above)
