What’s happening this week?

Latest news for 1 January onwards

It is CELEBRATION time! Not only are we open again after all the COVID 19 disruption but we are celebrating 30 years of being on the coast helping our community! 😛  😆

The community house opened in May 1990 on the corner of Centreway Road. The year after that our childcare building was brought on site and in 1992 our community shop opened for the first time in a tiny space of the original house. How times have changed!

You can make Foodbank donations at the office or shop and through our collection box in Orewa New World or Orewa Kiwibank in Hillary Square. Thank you.

Our Foodbank, car seat rental  and jigsaw library are all available again.

You can also call or email us if you have a query or need assistance.

Most of our groups are returning now that level 1 is finally here. We are still encouraging people to sign in or scan the QR poster for contact tracing purposes.

This week we welcome a new staff member to the team. 😀 Rini Ross has joined us as Assistant Shop Co-ordinator on weekday afternoons. This is because we farewelled Kim Power at the end of last year. Rini was a volunteer with us before joining the staff so is already a great asset.
