What’s happening this week?

Latest news for 1 February onwards

It is CELEBRATION time! Not only are we open again after all the COVID 19 disruption but we are celebrating 30 years of being on the coast helping our community! 😛  😆

The community house opened in May 1990 on the corner of Centreway Road. The year after that our childcare building was brought on site and in 1992 our community shop opened for the first time in a tiny space of the original house. How times have changed!

You can make Foodbank donations at the office or shop and through our collection box in Orewa New World or Orewa Kiwibank in Hillary Square. Thank you.

Our Foodbank, car seat rental  and jigsaw library are all available again.

You can also call or email us if you have a query or need assistance.

This month we are supporting our local Heartbeats group by donating the proceeds of our shop takings on Tuesday 9 February to their activities for people recovering from, and dealing with, heart health issues. All money raised that day will be passed on to them so come along and spend up! 😀

It will be a very busy month with most of our groups returning and some new ones starting up. We are still encouraging people to sign in or scan the QR poster for contact tracing purposes.
