HOLIDAYS and THANK YOUS

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

As we close for the holidays, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who responded to the article in Hibiscus Matters showing our empty Foodbank shelves. Once again, the community came to our rescue and we have received lots of cash and food donations towards our Christmas parcels for local families and individuals referred to us through Age Concern Rodney, Steps Forward, RAMHS and HBC Grandparents Parenting Grandchildren.

Our special thanks go to Orewa College, Pratt Enterprises, Orewa Library, YOU Travel in Orewa and Orewa Lions for their very generous support. Also an on-going acknowledgement of Orewa New World for hosting our food collection box in store.

The staff and Governance Board are always so amazed by the way the community rallies around when we need assistance. We wish you all the best for the festive season.

Looking forward, the office will reopen on Monday 8 January 2024 and our Community Shop staff and volunteers will be waiting to welcome you on Wednesday 3 January at 9.00 am. Please keep your donations until then. See you next year.
