We are thrilled to say that due to lots of customers and donations to our community shop we have been able to make two special donations to our community recently.
The first was $8 000 to Hibiscus Coastguard for night vision goggles for their rescue patrol boat.
The second is $5 000 for Community Patrol NZ Orewa section which is growing and needs more uniforms for volunteers as well as petrol to keep its cars on the road.
In December we have our usual monthly shop donation day also. Hibiscus Coast Association Football Club at Stanmore Bay is the recipient this time. Hundreds of children and adults belong to the club and we are pleased to support their programmes.
Recently we helped Orewa Sea Scouts, St Johns Cadets and our Special Olympians through this initiative.
